Love a good before and after!!
This lovely old chair has been in my family for about 4 generations and was in desperate need of a revamp but the owner (my brother) being a rather sentimental soul wanted to retain some of its last fabric covering as it was a reminder of our grandfather who loved sitting in this chair. I had had enough of seeing it get shabbier and shabbier so whisked it away and presented it back this week with a whole new lease of life I used a delicious inky blue soft as butter velvet for the inner of the chair and a contemporary colourful embroidered fabric for the outside and piping and then kept a little of the original fabric for the base .
